Overall Opinion:

I was then excited to try this self tanner because I've never tried a tanner in the form of "drops".  Needless to say, it didn't disappoint.

The drops are actually more the texture of a serum, and to use them, you mix 2-six drops per body part with your normal body moisturizer.  I honey this idea, considering you tin cull which body lotion to use.  I apply Jergens Aloe lotion because I beloved how it smells.

So the awarding is a fiddling time consuming and hard, because you need to mix the lotion with the drops.  I found it easiest to squirt balm in my mitt and then mix the drops on top.  But subsequently you mix it, awarding is easy. You just employ it like your normal body lotion.

The color of my tan was really natural and squeamish looking; I loved information technology.  I was a medium to night, statuary shade. My tan was streak free and looked like I had been at the beach.

There's but 2 things I don't like about this self tanner.  First, the smell is awful, and gets even worse as it develops.  It became then overwhelming. I know I'thousand not the only one who feels this way almost the smell because I saw other reviews complaining about this too.

Also, the cost is ridiculous.  A small 1.7 ounce canteen costs $59.00!  That's ridiculous, especially considering the bottle will but give you lot 2-3 applications.

Just overall, I'one thousand impressed with this cocky tanner and would gladly use it again.

Detailed Opinion:

Look and Feel

These are liquid drops, that kind of expect like a serum.  It'south a petty thicker than water, but very runny compared to most self tanners.

The drops are an orange colour.

Application

And then these drops are unlike than most self tanners.  Y'all mix 2-six drops per body part with your normal trunk moisturizer, then employ.

The mixing it together function is what I found nigh hard.  You'll either need to find a separate container to mix the drops and lotion in, or you can do it in your mitt.  I did it in my paw, which was a lot messier, but it got the task done.

You lot and then just employ the lotion, as yous'd normally do.  I tried it both with and without a mitt, and I'd definitely recommend using a mitt because these drops tin can be potent and they'll stain your palms.

Drying Time

The drying fourth dimension really only depends on how long your body lotion takes to dry.  The drops may add a tiny bit of stickiness to it, but not a lot.

I used Jergens body lotion, and it took near 15 minutes to dry, as it usually does.

Odour (Before Application)

Tan Luxe The Body Illuminating Self Tan Drops smell very strong of perfume to me, which I'm not a fan of.  I actually wish they would've made these drib scentless because they know you lot're going to be mixing them with your torso lotion and it will interfere with the smell.

So when using these, you'll smell the odour of your balm mixed with the strong smell of the drops, which but isn't a good mix in my stance.

The perfume is very girly smelling, and smells similar something an older lady would clothing (to put it nicely).

The bottle says at that place'south no olfactory property, but that's completely simulated.

Odour (Afterwards Several Hours And The Next Twenty-four hour period)

As my tan developed, it smelled SO bad (especially by the next morning time).  I smelled then strong of DHA mixed with perfume; it was nauseating.

I couldn't believe how potent the smell was; it was so bad.

Color Produced

I tried Tan Lux Illuminating Self Tan Drop in the Medium/Nighttime shade.  They also have a Light/Medium one.

As I mentioned in a higher place, the directions say to use two-half-dozen drops per body area.  I like to be really night so I used half-dozen per area.

The next morning time I woke upwards with a gorgeous tan.  My tan was a medium to dark shade and I really liked how information technology looked.  I looked dominicus kissed, which is my favorite look!

Now, for those of y'all who are extremely pale, or don't desire to be every bit dark, I'd go with less than 6 drops per expanse, because they're very potent and you don't desire to look orangish.

I thing I don't like about these drops though, is ane bottle won't final very long… possibly 2 or three total body applications.

How Long It Lasts

My tan lasted about 4-5 days before it looked patchy and weird.   That's a pretty skilful lasting fourth dimension, but it did become pretty uneven as it faded (like most dark cocky tanners practice).
